Green plum with cell phone bag
|
#1677 Green plum with cell phone bag
Here is a very cute set made by Karen, she has a web site that I wanted to share with you, and she has given me permission to share with you so please check it out, you will find the link at the bottom of the page.
This was made on the green KK loom, from Lion Hometown USA yarn in Oklahoma City Green with a second strand of Paton's Cha Cha yarn in the color Jazz.
Along with the hat, which has a curly brim or rolled brim (I call it 'curly'!) and a fluffy flower made on the pink 12-peg loom, also has in the picture, a cell phone holder. I call it the CeLLeash. It has a loomed 'leash' about 24 inches long with a loop at the end, and it is loomed into the pouch, which was also made on the pink loom. The idea is that your cell can be attached to your bag or belt or purse, so that you can't leave your cell phone behind (hopefully you return it to the pouch when your finished chatting!) It's long enough to use conveniently but short enough not to get in your way. I think its a pretty cool idea! I *think* its an original design--I don't remember ever seeing one anywhere, so I hope I'm not stepping on anyone's toes!! It's made of the same Lion OC green and Cha Cha Jazz combination which I love!
I have a website, my first, and it's been up a whole week. You can check it out....I won't go into it....you'll be here all night and I'm be chatting and chatting and chatting!!! www.kitteryknittery.com Kittery is the town in Maine where I live. I'm hoping to have a real yarn store at some point...there is not one around here. Fingers crossed!

#1211 Afghan made by Vicki Roig
This Afghan was made by Vicki Roig, her very first. The pattern is from "Learn to Knit on Circle Looms" But substituted with Lion Jiffy yarn, colors used: Fisherman, El Paso, and Grass Green Comments made by Vicki, "The yarn is heavier then called for in the pattern but I can tell you this is very heavy, very soft and very warm. These colors are just lovely all together. It measures 48"x60" with fringe".

Easter Basket

#1035 Easter Basket made by Bobbi
I wanted to share my lastest creation--An Easter Basket!!!! This is the 3rd one that I have made so far. It is make on the Blue KK Loom, with 1 strand of Red Heart's Light and Lofty in white, and 1 strand of Fun Fur!!!! It has a flat bottom, instead of gathered like the hats, and I brainstormed to find how to make the handle stand up I used 1 strand of floral wire, in the handle, The edging is different, as I did 4 sc in between each stitch as I took them off the pegs.

#906 Hat and scarf made by Sharon Piper
This hat and scarf project was made with the Knifty Knitter loom. I used Lion Brand Homespun, color "Windsor". It took less than 2 skeins. (I've never used thick yarn before so I bought 3 skeins)
I'm enjoying my Looms very much. I was ready to learn a new craft in addition to crocheting and sewing
